Terms and Conditions
When you place an order on this site, you have various rights and obligations.
We will always uphold your statutory rights.
Distance Selling
If you buy something on this site and we post it to you, it’s classed as “distance selling”.
Under Distance Selling regulations, if you’re not happy with your purchase you have 14 days to tell us you want to return it. Once we’ve been told, you then have 14 days to return it. When we’ve received your return, we will refund your purchase.
We do not have to refund the amount we spent to post the item to you.
The exception is purchases under £42, unless it is faulty (eg, mis-printed pages). We also do not have to refund you if the item has been used (unless it’s faulty). Please do not attempt to return books you have read (even if you didn’t enjoy it).
We do not charge postage for total purchases of £5 or more, if they are being delivered to one address in the UK (We send by Royal Mail, so we do not restrict according to how far away your address is – if you have a UK postcode, we will send it)
We do ask that you add £1 postage for items under £5 – this is because it would cost us more than we receive from your purchase to send it. We would love to do this, but we have bills to pay!
If you return a purchase then you must also return any free or reduced items that were part of the purchase. If you only return part of the order where you received a benefit (either monetary or free goods), we have the right to refund the item you return and charge full price for the item you received as a benefit.
Buying in Person
If you see an item on this website but then buy it and receive it from us in person, your rights are “buying in person”, where we offer a replacement or repair first, unless a replacement or repair is not possible, in which case we will refund. This only applies to faulty goods. You may not return an item if you do not like it or if you have already used it. As we don’t want you to be dissatisfied, we might offer you an alternative item, but again, only if you have not used (or partially used) the item.
If you return a purchase then you must also return any free or reduced items that were part of the purchase. If you only return part of the order where you received a benefit (either monetary or free goods), we have the right to refund the item.you return and charge full price for the item you received as a benefit.
