We also supply plastic book sleeves. These cost 30p each for small paperbacks and 50p each for large paperbacks.

There is no discount on book sleeves as we provide them at cost.

If you wish to buy protection for hardback books, please contact us.

You can have your books covered when you buy them, or we can deliver covers to the school. Any covers purchased will be added to your invoice in the normal way.

We welcome schools' custom, so if you are responsible for buying books on behalf of your school, then please get in touch with us.

We will send you a School Account Application from, which must be signed by the Headteacher and returned, completed, to us.

Your account will then be opened. All members of staff authorized to buy books will be sent a School Account Card.

As a School Account, you get 10% discount on all purchases upto £100 and 15% on purchases between £101 and £500.

Orders over £500 can be undertaken, but please contact us in advance to discuss.

School Account orders are normally invoiced for payment within 30 days of receipt of the books. We can deliver boxes of books to schools in the Sittingbourne area.

Holders of School Account cards may also buy books to take away with them, either on invoice or with payment on the day. The normal discount applies whichever your payment method.

We love to see children in the shop and are happy for you to bring a class or two for a visit to the shop.

We are able to accommodate upto 30 children in any session, so if you want to come along, then please get in touch with us to arrange a date!

School visits will normally comprise a paper-based literacy activity, a talk on the joys of books and/or a story-telling.

Any specific curriculum requirements can be incorporated.
