Kent Tests (11+)

The Kent tests are offered to every child in the region in order that they can get into Grammar School.
The tests take place in September in Year 6 (aged 10-11) for entry into Secondary school the following September.
Normally, Children who are being entered into the tests will not have preparation at school.
The tests are designed to test the child's aptitude in the subjects (which are usually chosen from the four subjects: Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning)
If you think your child should get a place in a Grammar school then these practice papers are the best preparation: not only so that they recognize the format (which is multiple choice in Swale), but that they can practise completing the tests within a time limit.
