Your child's school will have a reading scheme that it follows. On top of this core reading, some children enjoy learning some basics on their own. For this, we have a number of reading schemes in stock to help them along. You can choose from Ruth Miskin's Read, Write, Inc Phonics; Oxford Reading Tree: Read At Home (which complements the Reading Scheme used in many primary schools); Ladybird Key Words (and Read It Yourself). On top of these schemes that teach reading, there are also a number of series that encourage children to branch out on their own to get the hang of it.
