Dyslexia

It is important that children with dyslexia and other reading difficulties are given the chance to enjoy brilliant books.

Audio books (books on CD) are a great way to read great books (classic and modern) without having to worry about struggling with the written word.

You can find our Audio books by clicking here.

A popular publisher of books for children with dyslexia and reluctant readers is Barrington Stoke. Their books are in the fiction pages (books suitable for children with reading difficulties are marked with RR and the reading age level). For example, please see the 10 upwards fiction section.

We have also compiled here a list of books that have a lower reading level, or classics that have been rewritten for readers with a lower level.

This list is by no means complete, so please email us if you have any special requests.
