Horrid Henry
Rating : 10/10
Age group : 7-10yrs
Overall view : Funny and unusual
Description : Horrid Henry is a naughty boy who is very predictable. His favourite band is the Killer Boy Rats. He dislikes his parents, Moody Margaret, Sour Susan, vegetables and mostly his brother Peter. An action packed book with four stories which are : Horrid Henry's perfect day, Horrid Henry's dance class, Horrid Henry and Moody Margaret and Horrid Henry's Holiday. Be prepared to be Horridified! I like this book because it is funny and it is good to have a book that is not like the others in so far as he is naughty.
...is a hilarious and odd children's book for ages of 7-11yrs (approx.) The main character has a full name of Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. His father leads a whole tribe of Vikings and Hiccup is one of them. His dream is to become a dragon trainer, although a huge task is set - to go into a cave of sleeping dragons and to steal one.
Also, he has to save the Vikings from a colossal
man-eating beast (a Dragon). But can Hiccup do it?
Rating : 10/10
Would definitely read it again!
Charles Raymond John Azopardi
You're a Bad Man, Mr Gum!
This book is totally hilarious! It had me laughing
from start to finish, with Jake leaving his little
‘gifts’ for Mr Gum and the fairy with the frying pan.
You will love the adventures of Polly and Friday as
they cope with the naughty Mr Gum and his side-kick
Billy William the Third. After all life is like a lemon meringue!!
You will want to read this book again and again……I did!
Rating: 10/10
Cockatoos
It was really funny and it was brilliant.
I liked it where you had to find the cockatoos
in their hiding place. It is about where the
cockatoos found the crack in a wall and
they escaped. But in the end the cockatoos
went back into their nice warm home.
When their owner looked in he saw them
and then he said '' Good morning my
fine feather friends''.
Mr Gum and the Secret Hideout
I would highly recommend this book it made
me laugh out loud in places!
The main characters are Mr Gum and Billy William.
Mr Gum hates a lot of things like toys, the colour yellow,
Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays……..you get the point!!
I don’t want to ruin the story for you but Mr Gum and Billy William have evil plans for Lamonic Bibber. You will have to read it to see what happens.
Rating: I give this book a 7/10 and wouldn’t read it again as there are too many other books I want to read!
Billionaire Boy
I found this book really funny. It's about a boy
named Joe and he has everything he ever wanted,
but all he really wants is a friend.
Rating: I give this book a 10 /10.
It's suitable for about age 8 and onwards.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid
They are totally funny and hilarious. I like the
orange Do-it-Yourself book because it gives you a
sneek peek of the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid book.
I got nearly all of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books
except the Movie Diary and Cabin Fever.
My dad bought me Cabin Fever on the weekend and let me take it back home with me.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid - Dog Days
Well i would recommend this book it made crack
up in places and it is a really funny book. The story
is about Greg Heffly (the main character) who has the
worst summer ever!!!!!!! His mum mostly ruins it for him. He
has two brothers one called Rodrick and another called Manny. His best friend is called Rowly.
Rating: I give this book a 8/10 and the age group is round about 9 and onwards.
The overall review is:great book
The Worst Thing about my Sister
I thought it was funny because mum kept on putting
silly dresses on them.
It was the best book i have read and i give it 10/10.
The Worst Witch Strikes Again
I really liked this book because you can't wait to
read more when you get to the middle and you
wonder whats going to happen next.
Some parts are funny when stuff goes wrong and
this book is one of my favourites.
Rating: I give this book 9/10
The Magic Finger - Roald Dahl
I have loved this book for along long time. It is stupid, but it makes me laugh. The best bit is when the ducks start talking, and when the people start turning in to ducks it is so funny.
Rating: I give it 9/10
The Adventures of Captain Underpants
I enjoyed all of the Captain Underpants book and they are really funny. The bests parts are when the head teacher turns in to Captain Underpants. It was the best book i had read in a long time.
Rating: I give it 10/10.
